The Vortex RPG is going well, but we do not have a large playerbase to really get things going as they're intended. I am personally asking each and every one of you to register and devote a little of your time to a fun experience with your community members. If you choose to register and play, please put a note in your character template saying "BL Personal Request" and you will receive double experience up until you reach Class C.

We have also added the Saiyan race and I'm in the progress as I write this of adding more quests as well as the racial quests for each playable race. The first Saga is underway right now. As always, I'm open to any changes/additions/expansions that you all have come up with to make the game more enjoyable.
I have added a poll to see what you guys want most.

I hope to see you all playing and enjoying Vortex again. Thanks for reading,

I love RolePlaying, but this is too confusing. There's a rules list that scrolls down the whole page, and I tried to understand it, but I couldn't. If there was a civilian class, kinda like a pc-npc that I could be, I'd do it, but I don't get the battle system.

It's not hard at all. Instead of a thread for battle rules and general RPG rules and this rules and that rules, there's just one thread. I don't expect anyone to memorize it all after looking at it for five seconds. I do promise its one of the easiest systems we've ever used.

Yes, like Blues said, it's a simple system, just very explanatory.

I really liked the level system we had before. Although I really hate havin XP per post, because some people only post 2 lines, whereas others can post 3-4 paragraphs. So I'd like most a level up system where each word is equivalent to 1 XP. You gain stat points as you level up.

I've always loved word based RPG's. To me it encourages details in your posts, and it's very simple.

HOWEVER

I absolutely request you do not change it again. The first time you did, it was honestly so annoying I almost quit. Had just got used to the system, then everything changed.

As for the amount of SP being the same per post, I think that there should just be like a bonus for the descriptive users and what-not.

I don't really want to change it again honestly. Building essentially 2 RPG systems as fast as I did makes me not want to do it again (a semi-lie since I'm always thinking of a better way to do it but realistically changing it won't happen).
Bonus SP will be given, and oddly enough you're the first to gain it.

I'm currently working on 3 customs to enter the RPG with :3

BUT, seeing as how much evolution has come about in the past couple months what with AB and Onis' new bases, I figure it's time for a overhaul of my spriting style :) So that'll be up shortly.
