The palm trees populated the island, with a few bushes behind each tree from time to time. With a valley in the distance a stream rand down it till it came to a stop with a small reservoir at the base, as there was two huge mountains just behind the valley which the sun shone between as the blue sky was empty with only a few birds in sight.

Jordan stood on the grass as the wind blew softly, he looked up at the setting sky as the purple and red colors began to sneak in mixing with the already blue sky. The river was still with only a few odd splashes from the odd fish jumping in and out of the water, he looked around once more as the palm tree's blew in the wind and the grass swayed from side to side. He smiled as he loved this area.

A small flash of light blurred in the grasslands not far off from Jordan. From his point of location, he'd be unable to see this new presence. The day was soon over, but the time of arrival should have been morning. Alexis, the angelic being deriving from the heavens, formed out. She looked around, with no memory of life. Her morals were already set in and it was as if she had been living for years.

Alex stepped forth and started traveling the grasslands. She took route next to a nearby river and followed it upstream. Seconds later, she came across a man. "Hello sir. How are you today?"

Jordan noticed a flash in the distance, which disorientated his view, yet from where he was stood he couldn't see anything. After the flash had died down no one was still there he decided that it must of been nothing as he just looked up again at the sky when he heard a voice nearby. There was a pretty girl who began to speak to him. "I'm not to bad, what are you doing out here?" He wasn't aware that anyone else knew of this place, it was on a far island out to see, he himself would usually swim there.

To Alex, a secluded island was not known. Perhaps there was a specific reasoning as to why Alexis had been spawned on this special island to Jordan. She didn't notice anyone else within vicinity when she scanned the island. She did, however, notice mass amounts of animals. Even being new to life, she proposed this was an untouched island. Such life existed and flourished here. She found the sight amazing: fish leaping into the fresh crisp air, whaling about immediately removing their wet slimy bodies from their river habitat; off into distance, monkeys scattered around in the trees, leaping about one branch to the next for the thrill of monkey life; in another direction, ducks traveled in their waddling duck path, traversing the land along the river bank; lastly, birds flying overhead, soaring the clear blue sky for their next destination. These were only a few of the vast amounts of species wandering about on this wonderful island. Alexis looked back at Jordan after only seconds of gazing the land. Jordan's question sounded again through her mind as she prepared her answer within a split second of mind power. "I just arrived. You were my first encounter, thus you must be Jordan, am I right?" Alexis's mind game of already knowing Jordan's name and who he was could perhaps get to Jordan, being something out of the ordinary. She wasn't psychic, but her chosen words had given her such the image of being one. Back in her mind, she was given just enough information on the man, but nothing too personal, just necessary information. Alex walked closer to Jordan shortly after her response and put out her hand for an official greeting by a human hand gester of peace: the handshake. A smile was upon her smooth expression, easily giving an image of a peaceful woman, one who would care for almost anyone. Also upon her motion forward of her hand, she flexed and relaxed her wings in the normal cycle to make sure they weren't too stiffened. Her wing fluffy angelic wings waved through the air behind her, giving a unnoticeable gust along her body. Now was the moment which Jordan made his reaction to respond to her "friendship."

Jordan was used to this island a lot, he usually came here when he liked to think due to the heavy amount of stress that work and other aspects of life which would strain him. He liked the quiet atmosphere of the island due to the animals all living in harmony with each other and the fact that other people didn't even know this place existed. Well the fact that Alexis was hear changed his ideas on that.

He was already suspicious of her when she knew his name that shocked him even more, she must be a psychic to know this, all of this was running through his mind when she came up to him to give him a handshake, he gave of a uncertain smile as he shook her hand, she must be some kind of angel as well due to her wings... "So... how did you know my name? And your an angel of some sort right?" Tapping his foot he waited to hear her response on his questions.

Right off the bat for Jordan's response to her handshake, Alexis could sense an uneasy feeling inside Jordan. She had already confused him, as she understood from his responding question. She instantly gathered her answer and gave Jordan what he wanted. "I was created for the purpose of meeting one Jordan. This is our greeting, but my purpose for you has not been decided upon this time." She paused, catching her breath so she can easily answer his second question. "Yes; I'm an angel." Alexis continued her slight wing motions while she turned her attention slightly off Jordan to gaze upon the scenery behind him. This island was beautiful to her and she enjoyed having it in her sight. She thought about her task and warned Jordan. "I must be going soon. We'll surely meet again when the day is right to assist you."

Among the grasslands, a car could be heard driving across the landscape, the grass billowing as the automobile blazed past it. It was a gold on black Jeep Grand Cherokee, well designed and fit with automatic four-wheel drive. Beyond the paint job one could see that the jeep was thicker than most - an armored plated surface to boost its defenses. The glass was extremely tinted in black and looked much thicker, probably bulletproof. All that it would take to make it complete if the driver of it put a spoiler on the damn thing.

The jeep rolled to a stop several feet from the duo, the left side facing them. It hummed for a moment before it was automatically shut off. The driver’s side door opened up, and a man stepped out. He was wearing pitch black armor that covered his entire body, his helmet encasing his skull like that of a motorcycle helmet. The helmet visor was tinted as well, so no one could see his face from beyond. He seemed to hold himself with much confidence, and as he walked the hot air seemed to cool off a bit for perfect temperatures. Granted this was only a coincidence. If they were in the city very recently, they would know him to be Alex Calibur, the Arctic Gunman.

The Arctic Gunman looked between Alexis and Jordan. The male between the two held quite a large hunk of power. It was more than that of most he had seen so far. The female on the other hand didn't have that same pleasure. But there was something about here that strike a more divine side of things. She was truly someone to be respected regardlessly. The Arctic Gunman cleared his throat and spoke:

“You guys seem lost. You need a lift into town?” asked Alex as he leaned against the jeep.

Jordan was freaked out by Alex's response he knew that she was an angel of some sort, but that she was made to meet him, that seemed unlikely. He was just your average human well aside from his inhuman power but aside from that he was pretty normal, something must of spooked her as she mentioned leaving.

There was a loud rumble in the distance of the grasslands, it must of been some jeep before, as Jordan looked to see what it was he was right, it was a black armored jeep as if it were owned by some military company's jeep that also seemed strange to him. As he got out he looked at him, he hadn't seen him before but he had heard of someone that matched his appearance. He shrugged and deined his offer "I just came from the city thanks, there are some bad people around there" He thought about Quemon and what he had done to that kid "Quemon..." He clenched his fist and anger appeared across his face.

Alexis waited for Jordan's response before even trying to leave. He noticed he was distracted, but before she heard the sound she assumed distracted him. She turned to where he looked to see the jeep herself. She took no interest in the vehicle and almost began to departure, flapping her wings to leave. The vehicle's sudden speed lost and stopping next to the couple made her seize her attempt to fly. She waited for any response from the jeep. A man removed himself from the machine and let off a breeze, one which Alexis picked up quickly on. The cool, refreshing air felt nice to her. It surely was better than the warmth of the island. She did prefer the cold on occasion. Alexis listened on Jordan's response, seeing his anger at one known as Quemon. She turned her face to Alex and responded to his question herself. "I have no interest in going to the city any time soon. Thank you."

"Yeah, I've seen my fair share of bad people everywhere really. But you're right, there are some gnarly freaks of nature around those parts," Alex's ears perked up when he heard Jordan mention Quemon's name, "I don't even wanna hear about that prick. Guy gets off to killing children and mugging people; it gets my goat just thinking about it."

Alex clenched his fist, the metal around it making a grinding sound in the process. What kind of man would kill women and children for their pocket change? What kind of person would go and do such horrible things? If he wanted money that badly, then he could've gotten himself a job. A McDonalds can take just about anyone if they work hard enough. Alex shook his helmeted head - he needed to focus on less...tragic things.

The Arctic Gunman approached Jordan and Alexis and held out his hands to each, "Alex. Alex Calibur. And who might you two be?"

Jordan realized that Alex knew Quemon, maybe he had taught Quemon a lesson. A lesson the Jordan didn't teach Quemon well not then anyway, he's just a small time thief yet he knew he had to be stopped, because one day he could turn out to be something dangerous. Something that could actually pose a threat towards himself and others. He will be stopped.

He decided to change the subject noticing how Alex began to get angry about it, it seemed as if Alexis has had the pleasure of not meeting Quemon. "He's just a punk, I should of killed him when I had the chance... Anyway My names Jordan. Jordan Fairweather. He shook Alex's hand before letting and put out his hand in the direction of Alexis "And this is ..." He paused then turned to her realizing that she had not yet told either of them what her name was, he waited for her to speak.

Alexis just stood in place as the two men next to her became angry over Quemon. She would ask, but she felt as if it were unnecessary right now. She stayed quiet until Alex introduced himself and asked the other two their names. Alexis opened her mouth to answer, but she was cut off by Jordan's quick response. Listening in on Jordan, she caught notice of his gap in speech, and she took over. "Alex Enzeru." Right now, since she was trying to leave, Alex had little part in this meeting. She was being nice and sticking around anyway. She had plenty of free time anyway. She thought she might as well spend it building relationships with others. She was also amazed by Alex having her name, even if it was a common name to go by.

"A pleasure to meat you, Jordan. It seems that you and I share a common enemy. And as they say, the enemy of the enemy is my friend after all," Alex nodded as he patted Jordan's shoulder.

Alex then approached Alex, scanning over her carefully. She seemed a bit out of place being in the face of stranger, despite her cheery and interactive personality. It was understandable - everyone was shy of something or other. After a few minutes, Alex then spoke curiously:

"Ah, so your name's Alex too, eh?" The Arctic gunman mused at this fact, "As common as a name it is, I think it will cause quite a bit of confusion in the mere future of people are referring to us. Instead of us calling each other by our first name, we should instead refer to ourselves by our last name. Makes everything a lot easier, no?"

Jordan nodded agreeing with Alex, he often liked that saying, and he often used it himself, Quemon must die and now he had found a powerful friend to do so with. Alexis seemed as if she was out of place here, but she still kept her happy personality. You don't really see people like that these days. It's a shame.

"So Calibur" He decided to take in consideration to what he has just suggested even though to him it didn't matter if they were both called Alexis. "How did you meet that punk Quemon?" He waited to hear his tale. Hopefully it would be interesting and he beat the shit out of him considering he was a lot more powerful then Jordan was.

Alexis found the names to be possibly mixed up so she declared a proposal. "Whenever you're around Alex, everyone can call me Alexis, my real name, so it's easier. It's just I prefer Alex." She smiled with her eyes closed. Alexis just backed off, seeing as she was certainly out of place in this discussion, for now. She couldn't add in anything relating to Quemon, having not met him, or anyone for that matter, yet. She just opened her eyes and watched and listened to the two before her.

Alex turned to Alexis and nodded, "Since you put it that way...sure, we can go with that too," the Arctic Gunman nodded before turning to Jordan, "Which time? The first or the second?...Nah, I'm just messing with you, I'll tell you from my perspective."

Alex walked over and learned next to the jeep, and crossed his arms, "The first time I ran into him I had gotten done taking out some gangsters who were after my supplies. I guess in that event it was my fault for going in that alleyway in the first place. Anyways, as I stepped out of there Quemon walked up to me and asked about my gun," Alex motioned to his Taurus Circuit Judge modified that was holsterd on his hip, "I guess he figured it had some type of magical properties or something. But in reality its just a sawed-off revolver rifle. But anyways, I ignored him and left on my merry way and soon so did he. However, not a minute after people came upt to me and told me of the things he had done.

"So I decided to stake him out, and I found that what I thought were rumors were actually true. He had robbed banks using his powers, assaulted and killed men, women and children for the money in their wallets. Hell, before I confronted him about it he had killed a lone homeless man that never hurt so much as a fly for the change in his cup. When I did, I found I wasn’t alone in that place. A handful of others were there, including an old childhood hero of mine. And so I called him out on his sins and he tried to accuse me of my own to everyone else so that they could save his sorry ass. Unfortunately for him, they were on my side. And so I took retribution for the acts against humanity that he had committed.”

Alex pulled out his gun, twirled it in his hand, and pointed it right at Jordan for a moment before making a shooting motion and said, “I shot him.”

Jordan nodded as he began listing to Alex's story about Quemon, Jordan had started taking a liking to this guy, especially since he hates Quemon as much if not more than he does. He paused and began to think back to how he let him go when he should of done something. He was relieved to hear that Alex shot him, which made him chuckle slightly "Is he dead?" He decided to ask, he didn't want him dead but hell if it happened it happened. "Wanna hear how I met him?" Jordan was about to start speaking when he looked over at Alexis, she seemed out of place just letting the two men talk whilst she stood there as if she wasn't really paying attention but maybe that was because she didn't know Quemon well he assumed she didn't. She was lucky if she didn't he was the scum of the earth and didn't really deserve to be living, Jordan knew if he were to fight him now Quemon wouldn't be able to beat him, he paused then closed his eyes slightly waiting for Alex's approval for Jordan's story.

Alex had accepted Alexis's agreement. She looked away right after Alex leaned onto his vehicle and began his story on Quemon. She was listening, but she was gazing at the nearby scenery of the island. She looked at the cascading river again and saw multiple fish splash around in the air. Whatever was in the air was driving the fish crazy, but it was a nice sight and actually funny to Alexis. She looked down back at Alex when he started to move and was able to catch the sight of his move, pointing his gun at Jordan and ending the story with a perfect line. Alexis continued to stay out of the conversation and watch nature, but listened on them in case she was included. Her wings motioned slightly so she could feel comfortable again. She certainly had to adjust her wings often, but it was natural and almost never affected her in any way.

"Well, the shot I fired was a scattershot round and it left large holes in his chest and stomach, reducing him to looking like swiss cheese. Atop of that, afterwards he was suffering from third degree frostbite and was experiencing the effects of his blood freezing over and bleeding out of his system in the form of a mixture of blood and very tiny ice shards. I'll let you put two and two together, since I don't need to explain myself at this point," shrugged Alex as he holstered his gun.

Alex also noticed that Alexis was staying out of the conversation since she had no idea who this Quemon was. She could've asked who he was, but considering that Alex and Jordan were sharing their stories with one another her answers were being questioned. If she wanted to talk about something that she was interested in, then all she had to do was pip up and say something, anything.

"All right then, sure. How did you run into that child-killing bastard?" asked Alex, head cocked.

Jordan chuckled slightly as this could mean hes dead "Thank you, for teaching him a lesson." He began to think back recalling the day he met Quemon. "Well I was in west city when some gang members began to taunt me, it turned into a full all guns blazing as someone else I met took them out. Then Quemon arrived, and murdered a random man, so I attacked him then he ended up killing a kid, I was gonna kill him myself, but I decided to get stronger before I did it. So yeah, he's like a little kid always blaming others..." He then looked at Alexis, she seemed out of place if she wanted to know who he was she could just ask them.

If I remember correctly from all the trials my agency has done the last...all of them that went to hell ended up becomming 'hell prison bitches'," Alex grumbled while using his fingers to quote the last three words he said, "Them demons these days - good thing I hadn't had the displeasure of running into any myself."

Alex looked over at Alexis and cleared his throat, "Now that we're done with what we're talking about, is there anything that you wish to talk about? Considering that you're an angel I'm sure you have millions of conversation topics," as Alex waited for Alexis reaction, he grinned, "Oh relax, you're not the first angel I've come across. My agency has made super soldiers using angel DNA in the past just as they're using Konatsians, Saiyans, Namekians and Beastmen now,” explained Alex.
