Hi,

I have recently started LSw style spriting (I am pretty noobular but meh). I started pretty much because of the sprites found on this site, some are so cool it just inspires me to sprite.

Any tips that helped you when you first started spriting would be amazing! I am really having trouble with DBZ style hair atm, so any tips on that would be awesome aswell.

1) Here are some tipes off my experience. Always accept criticism on your work. It will make you much better at what you are doing.

2) If you use someones sprite base or something like that make sure to give credit.

3) Try to make hair by yourself and make sure to find what style you are. I myself make a sprite differently then others on this site. The main people that could help you is probably Luka and Onis so make sure to watch them and learn how to better sprite yourself.


4) Last but not the least you must be very careful of Afro. It has eaten an ice cream truck whole before. There is no telling what it might do next.

Yeah I am trying to find my style, just hard to get nice shapes and stuff. I will try to get onto some of those people (hopefully they read this tread )

Well I'd say b3 pretty much gave you all you need. It's just all practice and keeping at it.

Welcome aboard, honestly just sprite a lot and post em, which each sprite you make you learn your mistakes and improve.
It's what I did really.

Don't worry about you're sprites looking bad mate! We're here to help you improve.
I'm sure if you post your sprites us Vortexarions will tell you what to fix.
