I'm looking for people to be involved with a realistic/fantasy comic that I thought up.

The only thing Dylan Michael Bane remembers is his name, and the difference between good and evil. At least he thinks that. The people on his heels are not impressed. They think that he remembers everything, including his purpose as their 'weapon'. With the truth slowly flowing back to him, Dylan has to fight off the government officials, who are being controlled by one man.

For years, the people of the planet believed that they were in control of who was elected, and who was forgotten, while the government played them like a bunch of pawns.

Meanwhile one person controlled who lived and died in the world, and he had a plan of mass genocide.

He developed a 'weapon'. A superhuman with rare, and unique abilities, such as heightened reaction time, superhuman strength and speed, and on top of all that, flight.

This 'weapon' would be a means of extermination to clear the planet to summon forth a 'higher being' with the potential to create a 'heaven on Earth'.

However, Dylan Bane, his 'weapon' got away. This is Dylan's tale.

That's about it for the background of the storyline. I don't want to ruin too much of it, and I wanted to get the clear idea across of what this is going to be.

If you want your character to be in, add up their sheet, and I'll let you know if I can use them or not. They may not be how you planned them, and if they are, I apologize, but I'm still trying to get used to using characters that belong to other people.

someone dying usually isn't a good way to start a comic though.

People don't always die from bullet wounds, even to the head. My brother's a firefighter/paramedic and he saw a man who had been shot in the back of the head; the man was alive, concious, and told my brother all he remembered of the event. So no beyond, he did not die.

That's about right... although, it does draw the reader in if you have action, then backstory and exposition... I'm in a creative writing class, I had to learn how to write engaging stories. Although, you are right in that it wouldn't work all the time. Sometimes you do need a little more exposition and background info.

That aside, comic looks promising, I don't think I've ever seen this OC(probably not custom, which would make it an Original Character) before. I hope you can make it well and be able to stick with it.

@dewols: Thanks. I'll see what I can do. Random people will help, although I'm sure I could find a spot for him, instead of killing him off like the other random characters I'm using such as the men in black.

@Beyond: It's more of a prologue than an actual beginning. It's letting everyone know HOW the main character lost his memory, because just saying it, and not explaining it takes away from the story. I like in depth explanations.
