| There's a rule telling to respect everyone and there's another telling to respect the staff. My question is: does the staff deserves more respect than the other members? If so, why? I just want to know that, because I don't understand all of the rules because of my ignorance. Sorry for my English |

This ties in with the first rule on respect for everybody else. Love us or hate us, our decisions are final. If you have a problem with us, do not turn it into a manifesto; take it up privately. Show respect for us, and we'll give the deserving kindness and respect back to you. Its the same level of respect (for all members and staff). Staff have more authority but that doesn't make any other member less of a person. The purpose of the rule was to advise a member on how to approach a grievance with a staff member. I understand it can be easy to blame a staff member and start a vendetta for a warning or ban that a member might have been given, we instead advise you don't take it too personal, and if you do have a case or point you want to make do it in a respectful and amicable way. |
