A polish site been ripping Vortex sprites, I think at least.
On their main page, on the left.
I can spot VRP sprites, Axxon's, Luka's, Jed's, LSWR's, AB's
What to do about it?

First, I will not try to justify ARS(Anime Revolution Sprites), even though I'm a member of it. We should just all wait for it's creator(Viego, not "viego' from here) as he is the brains here. And talk with him. =/ Because now, even I, am confused.

So, it seems it can't be helped, we forgot about credits and thinking that way, we are thieves.

One of our admins, who was making all those icons said that he asked for permission everyone who don't allow to use any of their sprites without permission. Thus, I trusted him and didn't check if everything is all right. (oh crap, it makes me a really useless admin).

I have no explanation for what we did (without meaning to steal or piss off anybody, just because of our own stupidity). I'm happy that someone of you noticed the whole thing and we won't be trapped in our mistake any longer.

If you say so, we can delete everything that is put without credits and/or permission. If this and our greatest apologizes aren't enough, ban account I'm now writing from.

Well, it's everything I wanted to say. Writing anything more would be just giving bullshit. True is true, we f**ked up and we want to fix it somehow.

Oh, Avalanche, it's true. Only truly badass spriter we have is Sezu.

In my opinion guys, i think if they gave credit they could be able to use them, Viego was generous enough to apologize and in my opinion its not hurting anything you know? idk guys, what do yall think?

After reading his apology post, i guess its okay. I mean you arent a dickhead like the Moderator from the Spanish/French Forum that stole from us. You also offered to delete the stuff you took, i take that as a good apology, i doubt they will ban your account, since the reason you made it in the first place was to make this post.

Actually, I made this account some time ago, when Vortex moved here from excoboard (that thing uner my nick says "Joined in 2006"... even I am surprised about this...). However, as we were rebuilding Polish LSW after some hacks, I wasn't active here. I had access to Vortex and that's why I'm ready to get banned to take responsibility (ban will change something).

By the way, whatever your decision will be, we are now making list of people who need to be credited. Up to Thursday I won't be able to response, so if you decide something in that four days, tell it to our other admins.

Btw, I could give you link to one of our previous forums that got hacked and changed to porn site, but it was deleted some months ago. Lost chance.

It's already been established by the community, but simply to make matters official: Vortex's policy has always been 'free to use so long as credited'. If that's followed, no problems should arise - we want the LSW community to grow, and that is made only better by having a multi-lingual fanbase.

But give your admin a good spanking though.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the same mentality for all the spriters' work you used, as long as you give due credit it's okay.

I'm back and as I can see, all credits have been added. Our admin, Sołtys probably understand his mistake and it's good everything is all right now.
Also, I hope LSW community in Poland will grow, even with big loss in our staff.
