And for those who may have wondered where the Who's Online box went on the old layout - it has made a grand return at the bottom of the index page!

I love it so far AB it's a nice change and looks a lot sleeker as m_j said. I especially like how you brought back the "who's online" section at the bottom.

I anyone needs to, I've noticed that in some people's sigs they have images which still use the old background color. If anyone wants, I can make them transparent and re-upload them for you. This way if the forum changes colors again, it'll change too.

Might just be me but it seems to wide I have to scroll right and left the last layout I didn't have to do that.

I've shortened down some of the link names, so it should not have a scrollbar even at 800x600 resolution (on fullscreen). Does it for you, Ish?

Maybe some of the same sprites that are on the banner on the site.

i think you should hold a contest to create dbz sprite (certain ones) for example goku gohan vegete etc and the people that are in the top five there sprites get used

That may be one of the best ideas I've heard for a banner. For giggles I'd do everyone in blackface*.

To statisfy the competition sprite wanters (which is understandable, since I promised it at the time of the contest and STILL haven't fullfilled that promise, hence I hold a form of obligation), one banner involves the alien. Surrounding it are other customs from other universes (Marvel, Other Animes, Other TV Shows, Movies, etc.... For the Dragonball one, we have Shin's idea and for a final one we have the Top 10 Most Voted For Custom Characters.

Is that fair?

I don't think the top 10 thing will work. I sense a huge flame war on who's custom is the best or why their custom isn't up there.

Maybe for a banner you could have the three epic scenes. Frieza getting crushed by Goku. Cell being ruthlessly stomped by Gohan. And Buu either being torn to shreds by vegetas suicide or Gokus spirit bomb.

If you're going to do anything with customs I believe everyones should go in the banner all crowded like and it should say "the faces of DBZVortex"

And then I had an idea for a banner of "the girls of DBZVortex" in which all the custom females would be put. Possibly all sprites in a sexy attire of sorts.

Other than that something with the alien would be nice.

For a slideshow, I guess I could make it all run as an animated gif (granted the colours didn't completely screw the pallet, which I hope it shouldn't).

Nah, not like a slideshow, but every time you enter a different page, the banner would change.

That is an easy possibility (same coding as the old Quotes Machine).

The epic scenes all in one banner, but like with different sections sperated by like a faded jagged line so you can tell theyre not happening at the same time AB.

Sure be great a banner with:
in the left side a bunch of DB characters(Goku,Vegeta,piccolo,gohan,etc)
and
in the rigth side some Vortex characters(Ran´dum,Drake,Kain,Frost,etc)

You can get a rotating banner without doing your own scripts.
There are rotating signature generators that give you one link and it changes on each page load.
For example, My Avatar.
It works in HTML when I just tried it on my test forum.
