The path to power is hard and to reach there you must increase your stamina. However, normal weighted training isn't enough. By training yourself in high gravity you can strengthen your body and boost your speed.

No matter how much time you spend training you will get nowhere without real combat experience. However, there will always be stronger opponents in your way as you get stronger. Battle with the improved Saiyan Hologram to try and improve your skill.

Room of Time and Spirit - 900 words - 1200 PL
The Kami has invited you to go into the sacred Room of Time and Spirit, which has the memories of battles past. While inside, you are encountered by a powerful Saiyan Warrior, who seeks to battle with you. He will not be pulling any punches and neither should you.

And now comes to the final part of your training. The Kami-Sama is impressed with your growing skills, and challenges you to one-on-one combat, first to be knocked out is the victor. With the power you have gained, you just might have a shot. Bring your A-Game, if that's even enough!

The lonely capsule corp space pod wizzed through space at amazing speeds. If one didn’t know of CC, the damn thing would be mistaken for a saiyan pod. It was designed after the models from vegeta, since their design allowed for quick movement and also happened to be the cheapest do to their small designs. They have dropped in popularity, however. Their designs don’t allow for much comfort.

The small pod ship approached a reddish planet, known to most of the galaxy as Vegeta. A temple on this planet is known to house the Kami of Vegeta, a very old and wise being.

The pod sped toward the surface of the planet and slowly came to a stop on its surface. The doors opened, revealing a saiyan looking man wearing a gold and black mask. The mysterious man walked toward the temple, and was stopped by what seemed to be an invisible barrier.

“Who dares trespass my domain?” a seemingly omnipresent voice echoed through the temple steps.

Shin pressed his fingers to his mask, allowing it to burst into white flames and disperse into the air. “Shin Kohga; Half saiyan.” Shin stated.

“A mere half saiyan scum dares step foot in my holy abode?!” The voice nearly shouted in anger.

Shin was adamant as his eyes showed a burning determination to enter and train with the Kami of Vegeta. “Yes.” He responded. “I wish to follow in my Mother’s footsteps.”

“San was indeed a noble warrior, born from elites and royalty. You have disgraced her name as a Saiyan woman.” There was an uncomfortable silence between the omnipresent figure and the melancholy half saiyan.

“That’s why I am here. I wish to honor my mother’s name.” Shin stated.

“You shall not pass.” The eerie omnipresent voice said. The half saiyan turned and left the temple, heading toward his space pod. Once inside the small spaceship, he rested and meditated on what the Kami of Vegeta had said. It lit a fire in him to here that he was a disgrace to his mother. He used that flame to light his determination. It had been a little over a day in the pod as Shin got out. He started back toward the temple steps. He felt in front of him the invisible barrier that kept him out from before.

“Why have you come back to this place?” The omnipresent voice rang out.

Shin held out his hand. A small white orb started forming in his hand and quickly grew in size, forming his scythe. “I am here to regain the honor and respect for my mother’s name. I am determined to see my decision through to the end.”

There was a dull silence between the two, and then the Kami spoke. “The Death Scythe or the Deddo Gai. An impressive weapon, however it serves no purpose in your privilege of entering my sanctuary.”

Shin slowly lifted his fingers onto his mask and pressed them against it. It instantly burst into white flames and dissipated into the air of Vegeta.

Suddenly, there was a low droning sound from around the temple walls. Shin reached forward and noticed the barrier from before was gone. His face showed and expression of awe and quickly turned into a very faint smile. As soon as it appeared it was gone.

“Enter.” The omnipresent voice said.

Shin had a kick in his step as he proceeded forward into the temple. The first step on the staircase Shin was on pressed inwards like a switch. The staircase grinded against either side as it seems to switch vertical alignment. It finally stopped motion, revealing a very dark dungeon of sorts.

Shin looked hesitant, but regardless proceeded forward through the dungeon. The hallway was very long and seemed ever farther with its torches placed on either side of its walls.

The small hallway finally opened up into a very large, well designed room. This room had several weights in it and a very large pillar like machine in the middle of its entirety. Shin walked over to it and pressed what he thought to be the power button near the screen. It lit up instantly, displaying a series of numbers and letters. The small screen finally stopped its random gibberish Shin couldn’t understand and displayed a simple message.

Shin thought about the number for a second and noticed a knob to the right of the screen. He slowly extended his arm towards it and gripped it with three fingers. Turning it clockwise, a very faint clicking sound could be heard. Nothing seemed to happen. Curious, Shin did it again, but still nothing. He tried it again and then again and again once more.

Shin was confused by the machine and finally gripped the knob. He spun it clockwise, causing the number to skyrocket.

Suddenly, Shin was thrown to the floor, unable to sustain his own weight. It was a workout just to breath in this kind of intensity, but he finally knew what the thing was. It was a gravity modifier, used to train astronauts for the common people. The machine had a better use for fighters though.

Concentrating his strength, Shin slowly pulled himself up on the machine, using his arms to stabilize himself. He reached for the knob and turned it down.

The gravity was still hard to move in, but this provided a challenge for Shin. Glancing about the room, Shin spotted a few metal dumbbells to the side. He slowly walked toward them, and picked them up. Lying down, he got into a push-up position, facing toward the machine.

He inhaled sharply and lowered himself. Once he neared the ground, he exhaled; giving more oxygen to his muscles in order to left himself off the ground. Once he came up, he picked up the dumbbell in his right hand, and moved forward and lowered himself once again. Following suit, he raised the dumbbell in his left hand and moved it forward, as if he were stepping with the metal weights.

He continued this routine and finally made it to the other side of the room. He slowly lifted himself from the dumbbells and was sweating heavily. He reached down and removed his armor and undershirt, leaving him in baggy black pants and his boots. Slowly, he reached down and removed his boots, also.

Shin looked around and picked up what seemed to be wrist and ankle weights and secured them to his arms and legs. He seemed to shadow-fight with someone in the air, similar to how Boxers shadow box.

After a few hours of this repeated routine, the eerie voice of the Kami spoke once more. “Enough. You’ve done your training for today. Eat and Rest, your next training will be assigned tomorrow.”

Shin nodded in understanding, gathered his things, and left for his space pod to rest for the next training session.

The half saiyan left his homely little space pod and was fully rested, but a little sore from the intense workout. While he approached the temple, the staircase preformed the same thing it had done last time. Shin entered the dark hallway of the dungeon, but this time it was cutoff. Suddenly, the wall to shin’s right started to lower, revealing another hallway. The hallway seemed to go on for ages, before finally opening up into a very large spacious room. There was nothing in the room except an elevated fighting stage, like the ones at the budokai tenkaichis.

Shin leapt up onto the stage and noticed in the near middle of the ring a man who’s back was turned. As shin headed to the middle of the stage, the man turned revealing a man wearing a very old model of the saiyan armor and as even wearing one of those out of date scouters. He had very spiky hair that went straight up and back, almost making a cone shape.

Suddenly, the eerie voice of the kami spoke. “This is Prince Vegeta, a saiyan who several times helped in saving the universe.” Shin was taken back, how was he supposed to fight someone so powerful? “Do not worry though, this Vegeta before you is very young. His power level only clocks 10,000.”

Shin let out a sigh. That power level was still larger that this half saiyan’s, but it was still within his range of battle. “The rules are simple.” The voice started, “If you touch outside the stage, you lose. If you are knocked out, you lose. If you fall unconscious, you lose. If you lose, you lose.” Shin just nodded in understanding.

“Alright then. FIGHT!” The eerie voice rang throughout the room.

Shin cocked his hand back and thrust it forward. A small ki blast shot forth toward Vegeta who easily backhanded it to his side. The hologram dashed forward and aimed a kick toward Shin’s head. Shin was barely able to block the attack with his forearm, but was moved over a bit from the impact of the kick. Shin used his forearm to push vegeta’s leg and throw him off balance.

The young prince smirked and pushed off with his other leg into the air. He hovered there. “Come now, do you really think a disgrace to our race can really defeat me the prince?” Shin was taken back that this hologram was actually able to talk. “I’m not even using my full power!” The prince mocked. Vegeta descended to the ground and spread his legs to shoulder distance. “Now witness the power of a saiyan elite!” The air around vegeta started to become denser as he concentrates his Ki. A bit of aura started surrounding him as he powered up to maximum! “Ha ha! Behold! This is my full power! It’s at 12,000.” The prince smirked.

Before shin could react, Vegeta dashed forward and hit the half saiyan with a quick one-two. The prince of saiyans launched a full out combo on the mere half saiyan, several of his jabs and kicks landing. He extended his fingers out from his palm and thrust them toward shin’s chest, breaking through his saiyan armor. The prince grabbed Shin by his armor and through him over his shoulder into the air.

The prince teleported behind the half saiyan and drop kicked him back down to the ground. He descended to the ground a few meters away from the wrecked half saiyan.

Shin panted as he got up. “Are you done yet?” he asked Vegeta. Vegeta chuckled, then he started laughing, then he burst out in a maniac like laughter.

“Am I done yet? Shouldn’t that be my question? You can hardly stand!’ The full saiyan mocked.

Shin finally caught his breath as he eyed down the former prince of saiyans. He lowered his center of gravity and suppressed his ki, letting it build up. The, he let it skyrocket all at the same time. A golden white aura enveloped him, revealing his Pseudo Super Saiyan transformation! His power level skyrocketed to near 11,000!

Shin stood in a more serious stance and outstretched his palm. A white ball of ki started forming in it and quickly drew his scythe and formed into the Deddo Gai; the death scythe. “Ready or not, here I come.” Shin said, dashing forward. He brought scythe down in a horizontal sweep, which vegeta narrowly avoided by sidestepping.

The saiyan prince throw a right straight at Shin’s face, but the half saiyan caught it. Shin pulled vegeta toward him and started to spin and bring his scythe horizontally to cut vegeta, but the prince kicked off from shin’s back; it stopped Shin’s attack and got him out of range of the death scythe.

Vegeta did a few summer salts backwards then ascended into the sky. “How about this!” Vegeta brought his hands back and to the side in his famous galick gun stance. He started concentrating energy. “Galick…!” He started. A small ball made of purple-ish pink started forming and grew bigger. “Gun….!” The ball started growing larger and the Aura around it more violent.

Shin brought his scythe to his side and concentrate ki in it as well. The scythe grew large from the amount of Ki being pumped in it and started to glow a smoky white. “Phantom’s….!” Shin started, his attack near complete.

Vegeta’s attack finished and he thrusted his arms forward. “FIRE!” He yelled. As soon as he did, a purple beam made of Ki shot forward toward shin. The half saiyan saw as the beam neared him. “Kirei!” He yelled, swinging his scythe. A large collection of whit ki shot forward in the form of a blade. It cut through Vegeta’s Galick gun and cut the hologram in half. Vegeta dispersed into thing air as the half saiyan fainted and fell unconscious on the battlefield.

The kami was in the shadows of the room, watching the battle the entire time. A ghostly figure was stood behind him, but it was too dark to tell whom it was. ‘This one’s strong. Make sure you lead him on the right path.” It said. The kami nodded in agreement.

Battle with Saibamen - 400 words - 550 PL


Shin jerked out of bed. Glancing around, he realized he must be within the temple walls still. The last thing he could remember was using his Phantom’s Kirei attack. After that was just a bunch of black. ‘Damn, his attack must have beaten mine.’ He thought to himself, unaware that he himself had won the spar against the old saiyan prince. He dragged himself over the side of the bed and went through the only exit in the room. The door led to another open room, similar to the one he fought against vegeta in, but without the stage in the middle. Shin walked forward and stepped on a pressure plate, like the one on the steps leading into the temple. The door behind the half saiyan closed and made a clicking sound, signifying that it locked.

Being locked inside this room was the least of Shin’s worries though, in front of him tiles in the ceiling opened and something dropped from above. The tiny round objects his for dirt ground, and burrowed them selves under. There were several seeds that dropped, a few dozen at least. Suddenly, the earth beneath Shin’s feet started violently shaking. The ground where the seeds dropped started to rip and out came several small green men. They were very small looking, around the size of a 12 year old at the most. They all had green skin and red eyes. Claws stretched from their hands and feet.

Suddenly, one last ceiling tile opened and dropped a larger seed than the rest. Like before, the ground shook and out popped a giant saibaman. He was at least 3 times the size of Shin, and very muscular. Without warning, several of the green men charged forward at shin. The half saiyan reacted quickly and drew his scythe. He cleanly cut the 3 saibamen that had jumped in unison at him in half. They all simultaneously exploded. Shin was at a far enough distance that it didn’t affect him too bad. A bit of smoke rose off his saiyan armor.

He brought back his mighty scythe and charged forward at the group of saibamen, hoping to end it quickly. The first few that charged at him were easily turn apart by one mighty swing. As he was dashing, he spiked his Ki and powered up to Pseudo Super Saiyan. The transformation caused a white aura to gather around him and raise his power level. The next few saibamen that came at Shin were a bit cleverer. One jumped up at Shin, aiming to attack him from above and the other attacked from the front. The two preformed a two-pronged attack. Reiji, however, brought his scythe down on the two in a vertical sweep, taking both of them out easily. Now all that was left was the Large Saibaman, whose power level was still significantly lower than Shin’s.

The Half saiyan leapt forward at the beast, and swung downward his mighty scythe. The saibaman caught the blade with two hands, and tried desperately to hold it against Shin. Shin’s power level proved to strong for the plant beast as it was sliced in half. It’s remains hit the ground and exploded.

“Very Good.” Kami said. “This training seemed too easy for you. The saiyan’s have much to work on concerning their saibamen. “Rest now,” The Kami said as the door entering this room opened, revealing the room Shin had slept in. “you can use this room temporarily as you train under me. It should hold all the basics of hygiene.”

Shin took the kami up in his offer and headed off in the other room. “Rest well now, your final training starts soon.” The kami said.

Alex was walking across the ruby red landscape of Planet Vegeta, a bit lost in his search. In search of power like many others before him, he had come to the world of the legendary warriors, the Saiyans. Although their pureblooded species was starting to rebuild back up, there were hundreds of thousands of halfbreed Saiyans still wandering around, their Saiyan blood diminished. Especially on Earth too, even Alex had his fair share of allies that had Saiyan blood pumping in their veins. It was all because of the Purge that occured several hundred years ago, when the planet was destroyed. Now that it was back in full swing, the number of Saiyans was increasing rapidly back to its norm once again.

But for now, he was just following a rumor that he had overheard from one of his halfblood Saiyan associates that was in the Central Intelligence Agency. It was rumored that the Saiyans had a guardian, one that was destined to oversee the planet forever, immortal and almighty. By Alex’s estimation, this guardian must have been around for quite some time, and was not one to be fucked with. And he heard that if anyone were to threaten the guardian even in the slightest of ways, then that person would be visiting Yemma not even a second later. He would have to tread carefully if he wanted to, you know, live.

As Alex walked, he came across an elegant citadel that was engraved into the Cliffside. It looked elegant in its design, as if it was designed by the finest sculptors and constructors on Earth. As he walked inside, he came across a monk shrouded in a white hood that was meditating in the center of the temple. Alex could sense no other life in the area but his, but even Alex could tell that this man’s power was monstrous. It defied all principles to what he had known to be power - this must have been the Guardian of Vegeta. The Arctic Gunman could honestly believe that one wrong move on Alex’s part would be the death of him.

“I see you are here like many soldiers of war before you for power,” the Kami spoke while he mediated.
“You are correct, Guardian,” bowed the Arctic Gunman, “I will not lie that it is my sole reason for being on this planet in the first place.”
“But you seem different,” the Kami cocked his head suspiciously, “Your power feels restricted and bound by itself. When it truly flows it goes in only one direction and will not go any other way. I feel that if I were to train you, then we will have to focus on unrestricting your power.”
“So will you train me, Guardian?” asked Alex.
“We shall see.”

Alex then stretched his arms out, grinning as he was accepted into the Kami’s training, “Awesome. So what’s the first part of the training?”
“That’s quite simple, really. First thing's first, I want you two to mainly do some warm-ups, just stretch yourselves out and loosen your joints and muscles.”
“That’s all?”
“That’s all. No need to overexert yourself - its not worth it.”

After patting down on the hard red earth, he went to his advanced warm-up regimen that he did on Earth. Alex lifted himself into a handstand, and began to do a few push-ups on his fingertips. At the point he was now in his life, such a workout would now be considered light at best. After doing a satisfactory number of push-ups, he switched into a split on the ground in order to flex his legs out. As he was doing these, he stretched out his arms, feeling relief as he bones cracked and made his body feel excellent.

After when he felt that he loosened up, he got himself into a vertical basis, “All right, I feel pretty warmed up now,” the Arctic gunman nodded, satisfied.

Shin lay dreaming of a past he never knew existed. It was like watching a movie as the omnipresent viewer. In his dream, he wore what he referred to several times as the elite Saiyan armor of Vegeta, given only the strongest of the strong. He did not have a scythe or he didn’t use it. He fought with his bare hands and with invisible shockwaves off ki, or so the Shin we know thought. His opponent was blurred and too hard to tell who the man was. The Shin in the dream brought both hands back and glowed gold. He thrusted his arms forward yelling “--- CYCLONE!” As he did. Two what seem tornados shot from his hands and drilled right toward his enemy. The man shin was fighting dodged by jumping in the air. The cyclones followed suit abruptly shifted direction to go straight up. They stuck the man and dispersed The man fell dead.

The Shin in the real world woke up abruptly; throwing covers off his bed. He’s not sure what he dream was about or what it meant. He calmed himself down and proceeded to the bathroom. He preformed his daily hygienic duties, and walked out fully dressed. As he walked out, a voice spoke to him. “Good Morning, Half-saiyan. Today will conclude your path training that is of course, if you are able to survive. Now proceed to the door in front of you, there we will start your training.”

Shin did as he was told and preceded forward. The door opened to reveal a completely black room, except two light sources. The first was from the room he had just left, which quickly closed after Shin proceeded through it. There was one light source remaining; a glowing golden light in the middle of the room. Shin proceeded forward, inspecting the light. As he neared, he noticed what was glowing was not a light, but a scroll. “The Golden Flame Scroll.” The kami spoke. “It is said to reveal the true powers of any warrior to open its contents. The warrior must be worthy, though. If not the scroll will not give its powers to the one who opens it. If you have a God, pray to it, Half saiyan. You’re considered a disgrace to the people of this planet, hope that you’re not considered a disgrace by the scroll, also.”

Shin reached for the scroll very slowly, and grasped it. He brought it close to his face as it illuminated his entire body. His mask dispersed by itself into a gold flame and soon Shin’s whole body was glowing gold. Slowly, Shin undid the binding of the ancient scroll and opened it. It illuminated to the point to where it almost blinded Shin and out popped an orb that hovered above the scroll. Suddenly, it shot straight at shin; piercing his saiyan armor and sinking into his chest. The pain was nearly unbearable as shin grasped at his chest. He coughed up and his whole body exploded in Ki as the whole room was illuminated with a golden Ki. He screamed at the top of his lungs and soon the eruption of power faded. Shin lay on the ground, unconscious from the experience.

Days later, shin awoke in his bed. He looked around and it was as if nothing ever happened. “Finally awake I see. You’ve been sleeping for 3 days now. I was beginning to wonder if you would wake.” The kami said. Shin sat up and noticed his chest was bandaged up. “Go ahead, they should be healed by now.” Shin started unwrapping the bandages around himself, and soon it revealed a golden scar on his chest. It was in the shape of an oval, with a cross on top of that. “Get up, let’s see what powers the orb has invested in you.” The kami said.

The half saiyan got up and got ready. He soon was presented with a door, which lead him under the temple even further. The staircase he followed opened up into a large battleground made of dust and rock. The kami followed behind him. “There are 3 stages to your training. The first is your Physical challenge. You will fight…” The kami started and raised his hand. As he did, the earth beneath rose in a near human like shape. It was a rock golem, A HUGE ass rock golem. The golems hand was the size of three eighteen wheelers thrown together.

Shin drew his scythe and powered up to his pseudo super saiyan form. The golem thrashed about and grabbed a nearby boulder. It tossed it at Shin and the Kami, who both teleported out of the way right in time. “As you can see, it only targets you and does not worry about anything around it. Have fun.” The kami said, disappearing. Shin gripped his scythe with both hands and charged at the beast. He swung his scythe in a vertical swoop upwards, unleashing his phantom’s kirei ability. It cut into the Golem’ chest, but didn’t seem to wound him at all.

The golem was stuck in the ground; only his torso and arms were visible. It chunked another rock at Shin, who proceeded to slice it in half. The golem was to hard to take head on, literally. Shin was in a pickled, not many things could with stand being cut with his scythe. The golem decided to spice things up a bit. It brought both fists back and interlinked his fingers. The brought them hard to the ground, you could almost here him saiyan hulk smash as he did so. The earth shock rippled through the ground and destroyed the area Shin was standing on. The half sayain could fly though, so it did little damage to him.

Shin suddenly had a flashback of his dream… “--- CYCLONE…!”

With the technique in mid, Shin concentrated his Ki. His scythe grew larger and instead of a white line building around it, a golden line built around it. The scythe seemed to grow sharper. Shin planted his foot forward and lowered his center of gravity. He swung his scythe with mighty force, yelling “Reaper Cyclone!” As he called out those words, a cyclone of wind ki shot forward from his scythe. It twirled with tremendous force as he carved the earth up and headed for the golem. The rock golem brought both hands forward to stop the blast, but it ripped straight through him. The attack exited the back of the golem and dispersed. The broken golem fell to pieces, literally.

Shin was panting from using his new ability. In the distance, clapping could be heard. The Kami of Vegeta was watching the entire fight from the distance and approached Shin. “Very well done, but that was only the first stage of your training and the easiest. The real training starts now.” The kami outstretched his hands and the ground under Shin dispersed. Shin fell down the pit. The walls of the pit were not normal earth, it was mossy, but contained strange principles about them.

“Welcome to the pit of fortitude. It will be your mental stage of your test. The idea is simple. Get out.” The kami laughed as he walked away. Shin was confused at this idea. He concentrated ki into the soles of his feet to fly . . . but nothing happened. It seems he was completely drained of his ki and could not fly. The pit must have had something to do with it. The walls round it completely drained whatever was trapped and took its ki.

Shin had an annoyed look on his face and ran to a nearby wall. He leapt, and grabbed on, hoping to climb from the pit. The walls were to slippery and he ended up sliding back down. ‘How in the hell do I get out?’ Shin said, very frustrated. He sat and thought about it and soon an idea came into his head. He ran to the wall again and landed on it with one foot. He pressed off and leapt to the opposite wall, but the wall seemed to get even more slippery the higher one got. He slipped and fell down. ‘damn, I got up though.” The half saiyan thought. He tried it again and got higher before falling to his face. ‘Again!’ he thought, repeating the process over and over.

Soon, hours passed by and shin lay sweating profusely in the bottom of the pit. He was exhausted and just lay there. He relaxed and stayed calm, letting his body rest. Soon, he felt at peace. He was serene. At that moment, he felt some of ki return to his body. His eyes shot open as he came to his epiphany. He sat up and crossed his legs. The half saiyan started to meditate and become at peace with him. After about an hour of meditating, he was hovering in the air a few feet of the ground. He exhaled slowly, and inhaled.

He stood, still hovering and had his eyes closed. The half saiyan started ascending, nearing the top. He remained the same speed the entire time, making sure to take his time in keeping his inner peace. He reached the top and the pit beneath him closed it self. His Ki had returned. As he opened his eyes, he saw a blur of a figure. Someone’s hand hit Shin, knocking him into a different world. Shin awoke and everything was opposite of its usual color.

Looking to his right, the Kami stood beside the half saiyan. “Well done on passing the stage of fortitude. You still get no break, as your third test begins.” The kami motioned to his side. Another Shin revealed himself. Everything about this Shin was the opposite of the normal Shin. He was called Anti-Shin. Shin inspected Anti-Shin and was able to feel the presence of this one inside of him.

“This is your alter-ego, the opposite of you. He stands for many things you do not, but is inevitably tied to the things you are sure of. He does things in the same order you do, but perhaps in a different way. He tries to accomplish your goals, but not in always the same fashion as you want. Now, in order to pass your final test, you must beat your alter eg-“

No.” shin said, cutting the Kami off. He stared his Anti-form down. Then, the Shin’s spoke in unison. “We are one and the same. We must in order to keep moving on. We are the same person. We are the same being. We are the same power. We have the same resolve. In order for one to live, the other must be banished into the back of the mind. I have both of them inside of me.” Suddenly, the anti shin dispersed into a golden flame. The flame shot forward and was absorbed by the usual Shin.

“I have absorbed him. We are the same. We share the same power.” The kami was dumbfounded. He had ever rarely done this training with people and Shin was the first to have done what he did. After awhile, the kami regained his composure and put on a smile. “Very good. You have completed your training with me. Perhaps when you are stronger, you should return. I have many more trainings to give unto you.” The kami said as he disappeared.

Shin appeared in front of the temple. He reached out toward it, and the barrier from before blocked his hand from entering. “Perhaps another time.” Shin said as he walked back to the space pod. He entered the small ship and sighed, his long journey on Vegeta had ended . . . for now. The machine booted up and levitated off the ground. Shin took one last look at the landscape of this planet. “Hmph.” He said. The space pod whirled up and shot off into space, back to earth.

No matter how much time you spend training you will get nowhere without real combat experience. Battle with the Saiyan Hologram to try and improve your skill.

Alex stood before the virtual reality device that was in the dead center of the temple. It seemed to glow and radiate with an energy that Alex was not familiar with. DARPA had already successfully completed their artificial intelligence hologram programs, but none of them that Alex knew of were combat-executible. He remembered the Kami saying that he developed this himself many years ago, and that it was one of the most successful designs yet. Alex had to admit, such things were definately something to be proud of and brag about.

After a few minutes or so, the machine let out a high-pitched noise and began to create a hologram. The hologram was that of a Saiyan warrior, standing almost seven feet tall in height. He had a bald head, a goatee and blue and gold Saiyan armor. He gave off a murderous yet amusing vibe that sent chills even into Alex's spine. Since it was a hologram, it had no power level to be sensed, making Alex even more so uneasy. For a moment after when the hologram was completed, it was silent. But then it SPOKE:

"Vegeta...Vegeta..." the hologram hissed.
"What the...what the hell is that!?" Alex shouted, shocked.
"Nappa," the Kami answered plainly.
"What the-"

The Nappa hologram rushed forward at Alex, aiming a hard punch to his face in order to break it profusely. The blow connected with Alex’s helmet, shattering it on contact and sending the Arctic Gunman flying across the temple, smashing into the side of the temple wall. Recovering, Alex rushed forward at Nappa, and unleashed a barrage of attacks at the Saiyan hologram just as Nappa unleashed his, locking into a very intense pummel duel. After several seconds of a barrage of attacks that connected with one another, Alex managed to get a hit in Nappa’s gut with a knee, causing the Saiyan hologram to bend over in pain. Drawing out his gun, he pointed it at Nappa’s head and pulled the trigger, unloading an ice round into the bald noggin. Nappa was blown away, and dispersed into pixels just before he hit the ground, leaving no trace left of the hologram. Alex stumbled over to the Kami, who seemed realitively impressed with Alex.

"Lets never do that again..." Alex gasped, leaning against the side of a wall to calm himself down.
"Considering the circumstances, I'm gonna have to agree with you. Lets just move on to the next session," The Kami nodded, agreeing with the Arctic Gunman.
"Yes. Lets," Alex replied.

Matt had been on Vegeta for about an hour or two, just looking around, taking in the sights. When he heard that he was visiting another planet, he couldn't help but shake the notion that these were loincloth wearing men and women on a barren wasteland, but...hell. This was even nicer than Earth. He could definitely see himself living here...if there was more of an underground scene, anyway. Sparky ended up noticing something...is this a temple? Not one that Larry David would be at either, but more of one that's home to a great sage or something...hm. He walked up to the steps, confident in his newfound power, despite the fact that he was basically on a planet where everyone was stronger than he was.

"Halt." An ominous voice called out. "Do you think you're capable of recieving my training?"

Matt hadn't known that there was training, but would he turn down training with some sort of (what he [correctly] assumed was a) combat master? Of course not! So, he nodded his head and confidently said, "No. I know that I'm ready for your training."

Tough words for a kid who didn't even know that the Saiyan Kami lived here, let alone provided training.
