I also highly suggest not changing your name more than once every 3 months.

I like this idea. I barley know half the people on here anymore because of there names being changed... Let alone when they change there names they also change there avatars and signatures... It gets really annoying.

Once you change it you can't change it for 3 months.

Just like that? Isn't that a little too easy?

Well just because you don't doesn't mean others don't, I like variety I change my gamertag on xbox once a month at least I hate having the same thing all the time.

Yeah but the annoying thing with Xbox Live is you have to pay to get your name changed.



Still I can see were you all are coming from. Some people actually like changing names and that kinda thing.
Though on the other hand when you change your name a LOT everybody gets confused with who you are anymore Which then pisses everybody off.

That is why I like that you can only change your name once every 3 months. It balances to everything and everyones problems.

Yeah 3 months is fine that's about the right time, on the side under our avatars we should show our previous name so that it gives time for people to adapt.

Honestly, I've never had any problems with name changes. I've always figured out who it was by their profile, and if i couldn't, they weren't important enough as their previous name anyway.

I'm too lazy to go check but I'm with whoever said there could be some type of token system. It's like a change is cool every once in a while. Even if it should be somewhat moderate.

For example (my names through the years):

BattouttaHell
AfroMonkey
AfroLuffy
Afrolicious

See how the last three are very similar so that people still know who I am? There could still be some change without deviating too much. Yay for examples!

But yea, really no need for like 30 name changes a month peeps, the only one this rule really affects is Jesse anyway.....

iv changed my name once and that was from yungblaze to Yung Blaze lol

If I have a name change it is probably going to be like that... but that is myself.

lol the only reason im so against it is cuz you dont know who anyone is and the just defeats the credit system when you use someone work who do you credit, you don't know cuz they have 15 different names

Yeah I can see were you get that from... Well as I see it just give credit to the old name. If they ask you to change it later on then it should be an easy fix. Otherwise just leave it as the old name. (Tell me if I said this wrong)

Still every.... once in a while some people like to change there name. Though sometimes it does get annoying. Especially when 5-20 people are changing it and are changing it every few weeks. Still once every few years is fine. Though again this is just my opinion.
